Gerontocracy vs. Generation Z: Communication Paradox of Politics in Turkey

Gerontocracy refers to systems in which government / leadership is concentrated in the hands of the oldest individuals in a society. Their common characteristics are being conformist and conservative, reluctant to change and they are even active resistance to change. Generation Z on the other hand refers to the demographic group which was born after 1996 in which the largest members are 23 years old now.
